From living in your head
to living from your heart.
My philosophy is simple: To love the world skillfully.
I offer experiential psychotherapy for adults.

You will gently cultivate self-trust and a felt sense of belonging here.
The land does not ask you to be anyone else.

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
— Rachel Carson
I believe every ending is a beginning, leading you to a renewal.
The forest keeps remaking herself in quiet, patient ways.
So do we.
I work especially well with LGBTQ+ adults, medical professionals, caregivers, and high achievers who are ready to move beyond survival functioning or burning out and begin living in deeper alignment with their values. I also welcome those healing from relationships where they learned to leave themselves, question their worth, and those seeking more secure, authentic, and mutual ways of connecting and growing. This might show up as a mental health concern like trauma, or one of the many manifestations of it like anxiety, depression, a deep void, or a feeling of numbness and disconnection from yourself and others.
I find themes in the therapy experiences of my clients, many of whom are at a threshold:
-
Needs for emotional support transitioning with the end of something like graduation from school stages, break-ups (friend, romance, work), changes in chosen or biological families, maiden to motherhood to crone, marriage and divorce, beginning a new career or retiring, shifting identity, chronic or terminal illness
-
Seeking an LGBTQ identified therapist, who also has professional training for affirming therapy
-
Times of heartache
-
Contemplating, "Now what?"
-
Help to build capacity to create your own meaning and to be known
-
Emotional exploration, the adventure to self-knowing through learning the language of their feelings and needs in the embrace of wild things
-
Professional burnout, double binds, ethical dilemma, moral injury
-
A, painful, fearful yearning to reach their potential at any age
-
Longing for tender loving emotional care and to explore blocks to receiving it
-
Incorporating their spiritual experiences and practices in their therapy
-
Creation of personal rituals to alchemize dis-ease and increase feelings of belonging and connection
-
Hoping for movement and connection to the outdoors
-
Wanting to remediate modern tendencies like technology addiction
-
Exposure to the outdoors with a therapist to support regaining connection to nature, and processing fearful and apprehensive feelings about the wild
-
Grief and feelings of alarmed aloneness
-
Death and dying, life review, and finding elegy
-
Cultivating self-love, curiosity, playfulness of spirit
-
Regain stolen focus
-
A spark waiting to be kindled
Everything becomes compost for new life. There are no mistakes, only lessons.
All things move in cycles.
You matter.
The land is listening, and so am I.
