“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
— Rachel Carson
I aspire to be the therapist you come to when there is a missing poster up in the forest of your heart for that dog in you.
Have you felt like something in you is ending (a story, a season, a version of yourself ), whether literally or metaphorically?
I believe every ending is a beginning, leading you to renewal.
The forest keeps remaking herself in quiet, patient ways. So do we.
Everything becomes compost for new life. There are no mistakes, only lessons. All things move in cycles.
I offer gentle, adventurous, contemplative, relational, ecofeminist, spiralic, and nature-rooted psychotherapy.
The land is listening, and so am I.
Let's find that dog in you, shall we?

Quoting the beloved Buddhist teacher, "Thay" Thich Nhat Hanh, my own teacher, Beth Bartlett wrote in her blog Gleanings,
"Ultimately, the wisdom of interbeing is that 'our being is not limited to what is inside the boundary of our skin. It is much more immense . . . There is no phenomenon on earth that does not concern us. . .. We have to look deeply at things in order to see'
May we learn to look deeply."
I am in my vocation, in large part, because of Beth's love of life, experiential teachings, friendship, and influence. She is my beloved mentor and teacher. She is my lineage. Our relationship has taught me how important being a loving presence for others is, how to follow the compass of my values and authentic self, and how to live the questions of life with grace and curiosity. You can find the post this was taken from, and her entire blog here:
