Extended sessions for times when weekly therapy is not enough.

These sessions take place outdoors and integrate therapeutic conversation and time with wild land.

What an Intensive Is

An intensive is a longer therapeutic session held in a continuous block of time. There are times in life when an issue feels persistent, complex, or emotionally intense, and shorter sessions are not providing enough space.

This allows us to:

  • slow down and attune with you

  • explore your experiences in greater depth

  • stay with emotional material without interruption

  • support integration as it unfolds in real time

  • create new experience together

The land is partnered with intentionally to support aliveness, reflection, and perspective.

Common Areas of Focus

Intensives are often helpful for individuals experiencing:

  • grief or loss

  • professional burnout

  • relationship endings or transitions

  • identity exploration or confusion

  • anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or emotional shutdown

  • stolen focus and attention

  • traumatic life moments when you need a relational space that's focused on you

  • longstanding patterns you've identified that feel difficult to shift in weekly therapy

What You Can Expect

Therapy intensives create the container (time, space, accompaniment) to slow down, deepen into authentic relationship, and reconnect with the wisdom of the living world. We will follow what emerges for you with curiosity, honoring the healing that becomes possible through mutuality, resonance, presence, and nature connection. Accompaniment is an emotional pain killer, you will feel relief in a space cultivated with calm, acceptance, resonance, and nature's energy. With relief comes a space to cultivate life-giving capacities.

Structure

Each intensive includes:

  • Free 30 minute consultation online to determine if an intensive is the right fit for you

  • Initial session online (60 minutes): A focused session to clarify your goals and areas of focus

  • Planning session online (30 minutes): A session to support planning for logistics of your intensive

  • Intensive Session in person (1, 2, or 3 days): 5 hours each (lunch break included) of outdoor therapeutic work, tailored to your needs and pace

  • Integration session online (50 minutes): 1-3 weeks after your intensive is completed

A diagnostic assessment is required, and is not part of the intensive cost. You may send a DA from an outside provider completed within one year of scheduling your intensive or I can complete this.
