Extended sessions for times when weekly therapy is not enough.

There are times in life when an issue feels persistent, complex, or emotionally intense, and shorter sessions are not providing enough space for meaningful progress.

Ecotherapy intensives offer longer, focused sessions designed to support deeper emotional processing, clarity, and integration.

These sessions take place outdoors and integrate therapeutic conversation with grounding in nature.

What an Intensive Is

An intensive is a longer therapeutic session held in a continuous block of time.

This allows us to:

  • slow down and stabilize the nervous system

  • explore experiences in greater depth

  • stay with emotional material without interruption

  • support integration as it unfolds in real time

The land is partnered with intentionally to support regulation, reflection, and perspective.

Common Areas of Focus

Intensives are often helpful for individuals experiencing:

  • grief or loss

  • professional burnout

  • relationship endings or transitions

  • identity exploration or confusion

  • anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or emotional shutdown

  • stolen focus and attention

  • trauma transformation

  • longstanding patterns you've identified that feel difficult to shift in weekly therapy

What You Can Expect

While each experience is unique, clients often report:

  • Increased clarity around what they are experiencing

  • A more organized understanding of internal patterns

  • A sense of relief from carrying something alone

  • Greater belonging to, inner and outer, nature and our living world

  • Increased self-trust

  • Greater clarity about values and direction

  • Improved ability to make decisions

  • Reduced feelings of being stuck

  • Stronger connection to self

  • Better understanding of burnout patterns

  • Increased self-compassion

  • Greater emotional awareness and regulation

Structure

Each intensive includes:

  • Free 30 minute consultation to determine if an intensive is the right fit for you

  • Initial Preparation Session (90 minutes): A focused session to clarify goals and areas of focus, as well as explore locations and plan your intensive

  • Intensive Session (1, 2, or 3 days): 4-6 hours (lunch break included) of outdoor therapeutic work, tailored to your needs and pace

  • Integration session (50 minutes): 1-3 weeks after your intensive is completed

A diagnostic assessment is required, and is not part of the intensive cost. You may send a DA from an outside provider completed within one year of scheduling your intensive.
