National data shows nearly half of physicians report burnout symptoms, and rates among nurses are even higher. Healthcare professionals (especially women in caring roles) also face elevated risks of depression, post-traumatic stress, and suicide compared to the general population.

These realities matter to me deeply.

You give a great deal. And you are rarely given protected space to process what you carry. You may already understand therapeutic concepts and coping skills. What is often missing is time, privacy, and permission to step out of productivity and tend to your own nervous system, grief, and sense of self.

Ecotherapy intensives offer you something you may rarely receive: extended, restorative space outside clinical environments to reconnect with your body, values, and humanity.

All intensives require an exploration call to see if this work would be a good fit for you.​​

1. The Consultation Call

 We begin with a confidential, 30-minute conversation. This is where we clarify your goals, explore your history, and decide if an intensive is the right fit. You’ll know exactly what to expect, and our time together is focused on what will create the most impact for you.

2. Pre-Intensive Preparation

Once you’re scheduled, you’ll complete a detailed intake and reflection process. This helps us target our work so that we can plan your intensive to meet your needs. You’ll also receive guidance to prepare mentally, physically, and logistically.

Initial assessment through video conference. (75-mins, $240)

Treatment planning session. (50-mins, $180)

Logistics session. (50-mins, included)

3. Intensive, Integration & Aftercare

We'll tailor the experience to your needs. We'll spend our time in a wild environment reconnecting you to you, using ecotherapy practices and working together on your goals for change.

The days after your intensive are for integration, which is a crucial time. You’ll leave with a personalized integration plan and a scheduled follow-up session to support you as you apply what you’ve learned to your life. This supports your breakthroughs and serves as the foundation for change.

Each intensive is one-of-a-kind, and prices are based on value.

Nature consoles by offering nervous system regulation, belonging without judgment, and a living reminder that all beings move through cycles of stress, loss, rest, and renewal. In the natural world you can arrive exactly as you are and belong. Many people find that being in nature helps their bodies settle, their perspective widen, and their capacity to feel and process return.

Assessment and planning are conducted via video conferencing.

I offer ecotherapy intensives along the Mississippi River in Maiden Rock, Stockholm, and Pepin, Wisconsin.

I offer a variety of outdoor locations to suit your needs. Possible areas on the land for exploration: bluffs, prairies, woods, creeks, and rustic roads. I am excited to introduce you to the Land!

We will tailor our work locations and activities to your desires, abilities, the weather, and your goals.

Some people like hiking and walking, while others like finding a space to sit. Some people like a little of both. Typically, these experiences are gentle, adventurous, and an opportunity to listen to your body and pace.

You are responsible for lodging in the area, and I will provide you with a list of accommodation options during our logistics session. These locations will be in Pepin, Stockholm, and Maiden Rock, Wisconsin.

There are a plethora of delicious restaurants, tourist attractions, and local farms and businesses to visit while in the area.

Pepin, Stockholm, Maiden Rock, Bay City, and Red Wing are all pretty close together. At our logistics session, I provide a list of recommended local accommodations and places I like (due to the nature of our work and the confidentiality needs of our relationship, I don't partner with local businesses for your privacy).

It is a value of mine to engage in commerce locally, and it's fun for me to share the places I know with you. There is no obligation to engage with places I suggest, and you're welcome and encouraged to do your own research!

It does change some things, though. I'm currently developing my process for this.

Therapy licensure in the United States is based on where you are physically located at the time of our sessions, not where you permanently live.

For our intensive, we will be in Wisconsin and will be physically present in the state during your intensive. I can legally provide therapy services to you (as I am licensed in WI). Many clients choose to travel for a multi-day intensive experience.

However, if you are physically located in another state during our sessions (including virtual sessions before or after the intensive), I must also be licensed in that state in order to provide therapy. If I am not licensed there, I cannot offer clinical services while you are located outside MN or WI.

This changes how I schedule the intensive with you, as an out-of-state client.

If you’re considering traveling for an intensive, I’m happy to talk through logistics and help you determine whether it would be a good fit. Please reach out, and we'll figure it out together.

Not included in intensive cost:

The initial assessment is $240 (75-mins), and this is to assess if intensives are a good fit for you vs. weekly therapy. This is a diagnostic assessment, and I accept records of one of these done with other mental health professionals in the calendar year.

Treatment planning session $180 (50-mins).

Intensive cost covers:

One 50-minute video conferencing session for logistics.

Intensives are up to 4 therapeutic hours per day, with a 1.5-hour lunch break/rest midday, totaling 5.5 hours daily. Because it is value-driven, clients can shorten their intensive day without reducing cost.

We will have a 50-minute follow-up video-conferencing integration session within the month following your intensive.

Also included in the intensive: a personalized workbook, a field notes journal, a snack, and tea. I carry a pack to offer access to supplies like snacks, tissue, tea and water, First-Aid kit, pads for sitting in the woods, hammocks for rest, natural sunblock and bug spray, and permethrin for ticks.

There is a per-session fee for treatment planning and our initial assessment session due at the time of service.

The logistics, intensive, and follow-up integration sessions are included in the intensive cost and paid in full at the time of the logistics session.

There are no refunds for services rendered. Late cancellation and no-show fees apply to therapeutic intensives and are outlined in the initial paperwork and agreed to.

I do not bill insurance.
